D-Workshop has been delivering excellence in Architecture and Interior Design since 2000, creating thoughtful spaces that balance functionality, aesthetics, and long-term value. Founded by Ar. Prarthan Desai and based in Valsad, the studio approaches every project with a commitment to clarity, craftsmanship, and purposeful design.
Over the years, D-Workshop has successfully worked across five key typologies — Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Interior Design. From private residences and corporate workplaces to healthcare facilities, educational campuses, industrial developments, hospitality spaces, and bespoke interiors, each project is designed to respond to its context and the people who use it.

Ar. Prarthan Desai
Principle Ar.Prarthan founded D-Workshop in Valsad with a simple conviction: that good architecture is the result of listening carefully, drawing slowly, and refusing to settle for the first idea that arrives. He has spent the last 26 years working across residential, institutional, and interior commissions where the brief is rarely about square footage and almost always about a way of living.
In 2025, three of his projects — the Niraant residence, the Valsad Institute of Medical Sciences, and the D-Workshop studio itself — were named winners at the ICEA-UltraTech Outstanding Concrete Structure Awards.
His work is shaped by a fascination with how raw materials — concrete, Corten, timber, stone — change as light moves across them through the day.

VIMS was envisioned as a contemporary healthcare institution where architecture, infrastructure, and medical functionality operate in harmony. The project is defined by clear circulation, efficient departmental planning, advanced diagnostics, critical care units, operation theatres, and specialized treatment facilities that support seamless healthcare delivery. Recognized with the UltraTech Outstanding Concrete Structure Award 2025, VIMS stands as a testament to excellence in structural innovation, institutional design, and community-focused healthcare infrastructure.

A private residence, Valsad
Conceived as a modern courtyard house, Niraant reinterprets traditional residential planning through contemporary architecture and structural clarity. The central courtyard acts as the heart of the home, bringing natural light, ventilation, and social interaction into everyday living. Defined by its refined concrete detailing and disciplined material palette, the residence was honored with the UltraTech Outstanding Concrete Structure Award 2025, recognizing its excellence in design, construction quality, and structural innovation.
